วันที่ 19 - 23 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 ศูนย์อ้างอิงโรคปากและเท้าเปื่อย ภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ได้จัดโครงการฝึกอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการหลักสูตร “การตรวจหาแอนติบอดีสำหรับโรคปากและเท้าเปื่อยด้วยเทคนิค C-ELISA ให้กับเจ้าหน้าที่ประจำห้องปฏิบัติการ 12 แห่ง ได้แก่ สถาบันสุขภาพสัตว์แห่งชาติ (สสช.) ศูนย์วิจัยและพัฒนาการสัตวแพทย์ (ศวพ.)ประจำภูมิภาค ศูนย์ทดสอบและวิจัยคุณภาพชีววัตถุสำหรับสัตว์ (ศทวช.) สำนักเทคโนโลยีชีวภัณฑ์สัตว์ (สทช.) และเจ้าหน้าที่จากประเทศอินโดนีเซีย โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก น.สพ.เลิศชัย จินตพิทักษ์สกุล ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันสุขภาพสัตว์แห่งชาติ เป็นประธานเปิดการฝึกอบรม และ Prof.StuartBlacksellTeam Leader จาก MORU ให้คำแนะนำด้านการปฏิบัติงานตามระบบ Biosafety and Biosecurity โดยมี Mr. Chris Morrissy, International Expert (MORU) และ สพ.ญ.ดร.กิ่งกานต์ บุญสุยา สีโย นายสัตวแพทย์ชำนาญการพิเศษ รักษาการในตำแหน่งผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการวินิจฉัยโรคปากและเท้าเปื่อย (นายสัตวแพทย์เชี่ยวชาญ) เป็นวิทยากร ซึ่งโครงการฝึกอบรมในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเพิ่มพูนความรู้และทักษะการทดสอบโรคปากและเท้าเปื่อยในปัจจุบัน และทบทวนเทคนิคการทดสอบการแปลผลของการตรวจหาแอนติบอดีสำหรับโรคปากและเท้าเปื่อยด้วยเทคนิค C-ELISA และ LP ELISA รวมถึงกำหนดแนวทางการพัฒนาห้องปฏิบัติการตามข้อกำหนดของ ISO/IEC 17025:2017 ในอนาคต ทั้งยังเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมอบรมมีการแลกเปลี่ยน ความคิดเห็น ปัญหา และอุปสรรคในการทดสอบโรคปากและเท้าเปื่อย โดยการจัดฝึกอบรมในครั้งนี้ได้ใช้อาคาร Training center ของ RRLFMD ที่ทาง DTRA ให้การสนับสนุนการ Renovation ซึ่งได้รับการสนับสนุนจากหน่วยงาน DTRA ในการจัดฝึกอบรมดังกล่าว
From 19th to 23rd February 2024, the regional reference laboratory for foot and mouth disease in Southeast Asia organized a training program on the course "Detection of antibodies for foot and mouth disease using the C-ELISA technique." The program was attended by staff from 12 different laboratories, including the National Institute of Animal Health (NIAH), Veterinary Research and Development Center (VRDC), Veterinary Biologics Assay and Research Center (VBAC), Buruae of Veterinary Biologic (BVB), and two officers from Indonesia. The opening of the training was presided over by Dr. Lertchai Jintapitaksakul, the director of the National Institute of Animal Health, and Prof. Stuart Blacksell, Team Leader from MORU provided advice on operations according to the Biosafety and Biosecurity system, along with Mr. Chris Morrissy, International Expert (MORU), and Dr. Kingkan Boonsuya Seeyo, a veterinarian with special expertise Acting as an expert in the diagnosis of foot and mouth disease (Veterinarian Specialist) as the speaker.
The main objective of this training project was to increase knowledge and skills in testing for foot-and-mouth disease and review testing techniques for interpreting the results of antibody detection for foot-and-mouth disease using C-ELISA and LP ELISA techniques. Additionally, the program aimed to set guidelines for laboratory development by the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 in the future and provide opportunities to allow participants to exchange opinions, problems, and obstacles in testing for foot and mouth disease. The training was conducted in the Training Center building of RRLFMD, which received support from the DTRA agency in organizing such training.
