วันที่ 3-9 มีนาคม 2567 สพ.ญ.ดร.กิ่งกานต์ บุญสุยา สีโย นายสัตวแพทย์ชำนาญการพิเศษ รักษาการในตำแหน่งผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการวินิจฉัยโรคปากและเท้าเปื่อย (นายสัตวแพทย์เชี่ยวชาญ) พร้อมด้วย สพ.ญ.นลินี หงษ์ชุมพล นายสัตวแพทย์ชำนาญการ ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุม ภายใต้โครงการ Regional Public Health Laboratory (RPHL) Network Twinning Program ณ สหพันธรัฐมาเลเซีย โดยการประชุมในครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาห้องปฏิบัติการอ้างอิงที่มีห้องปฏิบัติการ ความปลอดภัยระดับ 3 และเพื่อให้มีความเข้าใจและความเชี่ยวชาญในการปฏิบัติงาน โดยเป็นหลักสูตรที่มุ่งเน้นในเรื่องของ Biorisk Management เป็นสำคัญ การลดภัยคุกคามทางชีวภาพ และสนับสนุนความปลอดภัยทางด้าน Biosafety and Biosecurity ผลที่ได้จากการประชุมครั้งนี้เป็นการร่วมมือกันจัดทำแผนการดำเนินกงานด้าน Biorisk management for BSL-3 อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม โดยการสนับสนุนของหน่วยงาน DTRA

Meeting under the Regional Public Health Laboratory (RPHL) Network Twinning Program in the Federation of Malaysia
From March 3-9, 2024, Dr. Kingkan Boonsuya Seeyo, a specialist veterinarian acting as an expert in the diagnosis of foot and mouth disease, along with Dr. Nalinee Hongchumpon, a veterinarian, attended a meeting under the Regional Public Health Laboratory (RPHL) Network Twinning Program in the Federation of Malaysia. The objective of the meeting was to develop a reference laboratory with a safety level 3 and to gain understanding and expertise in operations. This course mainly focuses on Biorisk Management, which includes reducing biological threats and promoting safety in Biosafety and Biosecurity. The result of this meeting was a collaboration to create a concrete implementation plan for Biorisk Management for BSL-3 and have good support from the DTRA agency.
