OIE accepted the OIE Expert at OIE Reference Laboratory for Foot and Mouth Disease (RRL), Thailand

On the 20th of April 2017, The OIE Biological Standards Commission recently accepted Dr.Wilai Linchongsubongkoch, Consultant of Department of Livestock Development's General Director and Former Director of RRL as the OIE designated expert of the OIE RRL, National Institute of Animal Health, Pakchong, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand as the second term. Besides, That commission has trusted Dr.Wilai for her well-qualified working continuously. Which she and colleague developed the RRL until it got an OIE Reference Laboratory for FMD in livestock since 2009. This laboratory is one of seven in the world :- England, Brazil, Russia, Bosnia, Argentina, Belgium and Thailand. It is bringing reputation to the Department of Livestock Development, Thailand to allow international acceptance of international capabilities and standards on FMD diagnosis and research in Thailand and ASEAN. It can also be useful in livestock & its product's trade bargain and to reduced some trade deprivation as increasing export competitiveness.
